I can’t breathe in the air that reeks of a racist authority,
who believes in justice-is-fair-only-to-fair mentality.
I can’t breathe in an institute that believes in gender inequality,
be it pay, position, or leadership quality.
I can’t breathe in a society that boasts of its equality,
but shame its people because of their sexuality.
I can’t breathe between friends who laugh at a person’s incapability,
who humiliate a fat person, or tease women to showcase their masculinity.
I can’t breathe when people consider religion over humanity,
when we see God everywhere, but not a human’s divinity.
PS – Let’s make this world breathable for our children.
