Why Silence Sounds So Deep and Heartfelt?

Silence is not just the mere absence of words.

Silence has many words, but we can’t hear them; we can feel them.

We can feel them striking our nerves, forcing us to either cry or jump with joy.

As the whispers of silence are made at a frequency, which only our heart can decipher.

There is silence in a graveyard as well as in an altar, but both are different.

The peace we get in an altar, the positive energy that fills our mind differs from the sorrow or horror that creeps us out in a graveyard.

Again, silence is not the mere absence of sound, but what remains unsaid or intangible.

It fills the surrounding either with your fervent prayers, deepest emotions, or remorse.

Silence is always pure, whereas words can be decisive.

We always hear words like BEST, TRUE, AMIGO, FRIEND, LOVE etc from those who often come and fly away but did we ever try to see those eyes which get wet on seeing us happy, those silent faces always have a lot to say but they always prefer silence over exaggeration.

It’s often said that being silent is the best answer, and yes it is, as words can only confuse or betray us.

As often is the case, words overshadow the true feelings or emotions LYING inside our heart.

Even photos are silent, yet they burn the loudest cracker inside our mind.

Photos often make us nostalgic.

Seeing an old photo with someone with us, smiling, eyes full of joy and love makes us cry.

They often help us to realize the importance of genuine feelings over false statements. Silent Epiphany!

But we are humans, and silent confessions are very hard to understand.

In this world, where we even get compelled to share what we had in breakfast on social media, we sometimes feel that it’s necessary to show our feelings, tell about how we feel, but what if someone is showing and we are just not able to perceive it?

Whose fault is it then?

Everyone is different, some people like to show more than they have and restrict us to them, and some people just let us flow and live with whatever they have within themselves.

They want us to feel it as heart’s approval is more important than mind’s approval for them.

Funny, isn’t it?

No words but still very much to say, not a medicine but sometimes enough to heal, not a matter but still is something that you can feel.

Why is it so?

What is there in silence that can make us feel so bad at one moment and on Cloud 9 in the other?

Now, I think I know the answer but would like you to search for it in yourself.

And believe me, the answers are waiting silently inside you.

Please don’t try to hear them, JUST TRY TO BE WITH THEM AND FEEL THEM.

Silence might work slower than words, but its effect is true and lasts forever.:)
